OBJECT

The object of the game is to be on the right square at the right time. Increase your odds by being on multiple squares. Players attempt to win and claim as many squares on the SuperPooL board as possible during the game play. Use your SuperPooL Board with a live sporting event (such as NFL or College Football). Any combination of sports scores can ultimately correspond to a single square, creating a surprise winner for each period of game play, earning the player a prize.

GAME PREPARATION

A SuperPooL Manager (“Manager”) is identified. The Manager is typically the owner of the SuperPooL Boards, although the owner can appoint a participant to be Manager if they wish. The Manager identifies a live professional sports match (“the match”) that your 100-Square Pool will be linked to. He/She places the Home Team’s Name in the space provided across the top of the Board. He/She then places the Away (visiting) Team’s Name in the space on the left side of the board.

When the match has been identified and the square values and final prizes have been specified on the SuperPooL Board, you can begin filling the board.

SUPERPOOL BOARDS

Each SuperPooL Board contains one hundred (100) empty squares, aligned in a 10 x 10 grid formation. Additionally, the board contains a “Numbers Column” along the top of the grid and a “Numbers Row” down the side. These are the scratch-off squares, each with a randomly placed number (between 0-9) hidden under the scratch-off coating. These coated squares must be scratched off only AFTER the game players have selected all 100 squares, which must be prior to the start of the associated sports match. The GridGame Board also contains a number of open fields, including Game Date, Type of Game, Interval Score Fields for each of the 5 Professional Sports, as well as fields to write in the Winning Numbers and the Payoff Amounts for each interval. The Payoff Section should be completed by the Manager prior to the start of each game, so that all players know what the payoff will be at each interval. The other fields are completed during the game action. One SuperPooL Board is used with game and is then disposed of after the game has ended. When you run out, you can buy additional pre-printed SuperPooL scratch-off boards here.

UNVEILING THE "POOL NUMBERS"

When the participants have secured all one hundred squares, the Manager should scratch-off the coated material on the  SuperPooL sheets to reveal the random numbers (0-9) associated with each sports team. The “Numbers Column” across the top is associated with the home team and the “Numbers Row” down the side is associated with the visiting team.

DETERMINING A “PLAYER’S NUMBERS”

With the Pool Numbers unveiled, each of the one hundred squares on the GridGame Board become associated with a specific number for the home team and a specific number for the away team. If a player has secured multiple squares, he/she should locate all sets of numbers for each of his/her squares. These are the numbers (related to the match scores) the player on that square will be rooting for during the sports match!

GAME PLAY

The match play phase of the 100-Square Pool starts when the associated sports match begins. Each time the score changes, the potential winning squares on the  SuperPooL Board are affected, creating excitement for those whose squares suddenly match the changing game score. As the action in the sports match heats up, the tension of the Pool builds. The more the teams score, the wilder the swings on the board. Players will be rooting for one team to score one moment and the other team to score the next, always rooting for the numbers (scores) associated with their square(s). The unpredictability of the team score, adds a thrilling dimension to the event.

SuperPooL is quite simply the most exciting new product sports fans have seen in years!

WINNING SQUARES

A winning square is determined by the last digit in the score of each team at various intervals in the game, based on the sport involved. At each predetermined interval, the  SuperPooL Board is reviewed and the player whose name appears on the square located at the coordinate of the number of the last digit of the home team score and the coordinate of the number of the last digit of the away team score, has the winning square. That player wins the prize determined for that section of the game.

SUPERSQUARES

On the left side of each board, there are 5 SuperSquares. This is the special promotional element of the SuperPooL Board. With SuperSquares, you have the option of offering a prize to each instant winner. Each SuperSquare is represented by one of the 5 Pro Sports Logos. These 5 logos are placed randomly across the top and down the side, next to the random numbers (0-9) under the scratch-offs. Simply assign a prize ($25 Bar Tab, Bucket of Beers, 2 Stoli Martinis, etc) to each SuperSquare, by writing it in the space provided. Then, immediately before the Football Game (or other selected Pro Sports Match) starts, when you scratch-off and reveal the numbers, simply match up the logos on the top with the logos down the side and locate the winning SuperSquares on the Grid. These are your “instant” SuperSquare winners…and should immediately receive the prizes you offered. With SuperSquares, your Pool participants have a chance to win great prizes REGARDLESS or what numbers they get on the Pool. SuperSquares are an extremely popular promotional tool for Bars….and add a fun and exciting element to Home and Office Pools!

PAYOFF INTERVALS

On the SuperPooL Board, each sport is represented, along with the payoff intervals. The payoff intervals are found under each sport on the top, right side of the GridGame Board. Final Scores include overtime, if applicable!

Example: If the score at the end of the 1st Quarter of a football game is 7-10 (home-visitor) then the player on the Grid Board square related to the 7 for the home team and the 0 for the visiting team wins the 1st Quarter portion of the prize pool. Keep in mind that the same player would win if the score were 17-20, 27-30, 17-0, etc.
